Project Sleep Wizard

Aggression, mood swings, unhealthy eating habits. This is the reality for far too many individuals caught in the grip of sleep deprivation and mental health struggles. At Project Sleep Wizard, we believe it's time to change this narrative and empower individuals through quality sleep.

Our story begins with the realization of five students that stress has become an unwelcome companion in the lives of countless people. The pressures we face on a daily basis, our relentless need to achieve our goals, and the constant bombardment of responsibilities have left us susceptible to sleep deprivation. Now, Project Sleep Wizard has evolved into an organization backed by 40 volunteers, all dedicated to spreading the need for restful nights.

Our mission is simple but profound: to create a movement that prioritizes sleep health and mental well-being.

But we cannot achieve this monumental task alone. We have partnered with the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), a beacon of support and understanding for individuals struggling with their own mental health problems, helping them pave a path to a brighter future. SAMH has been at the forefront of providing compassionate care, resources, and services to empower those affected by mental health challenges.

Our Mission

As a student-led organisation, we believe that the need for a healthy sleep schedule must be emphasised, as well as its impacts on one’s mental and physical health. We strive to raise and spread awareness on the importance of sleep as a factor that not only preserves our bodies and minds, but allows us to maintain a healthy balance in our societal interactions, allowing us to achieve our greatest potential. We plan to highlight the impacts of sleep deprivation, as well as promote practices to improve the sleeping patterns and mental health of individuals such that they lead a healthier and happier way of life.
